Make The Right MOVE

On Friday 26th January I went to see THE HOLLIES in Concert at the Town Hall, Cheltenham for a second time. I went to the concert with a little apprehension as I had seen them in 1998 with Allan Clarke and been dissapointed. This time however the lead vocals were performed by CARL WAYNE (of the Move) and I felt he bought a new zest to the band.

The line-up of the band was:-

• TONY HICKS - Lead Guitar
• BOBBY ELLIOTT - Drums
• ALAN COATES - Guitar
• RAY STILES - Bass Guitar
• IAN PARKER - Keyboards

During the evening as well as the Hollies hits we were also treated to renditions of Blackberry Way, which of course was originally a hit for THE MOVE, and Tiger Feet originally a hit for MUD of which RAY STILES was a member.
